Flower Care Guide

Flowers are delicate and require some extra care to make them last longer under the right conditions. We recommend the following general steps to enjoy your flowers for longer.

Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight or heat.

Flowers drink a lot of water! Fill two-thirds of a clean vase with room temperature water. Change the water every 2-3 days to avoid bacteria build up.

Trim 1-2 inches of the stems at a 45 degree angle using sharp scissors before placing the flowers in water. This will help flowers to absorb maximum water and stay fresh for longer. Re-cut the stems each time you water is changed.

Check the flowers daily. Remove any dead blooms or foliage below the water level to avoid bacterial growth.

Flower Bouquet Care

1. Gently remove the packaging and trim the stems diagonally approximately 1-2 inches from the end.

2. Remove any leaves that will be below the waterline in the vase.

3. Place the flowers in a clean vase, away from direct heat, sunlight, draughts from vents, or ripening fruits.

4. Re-cut stems and change the water every 2-3 days. Remove any wilting blooms or dead foliage.

Flower Arrangement & Hatbox Arrangement Care

1. If the flowers are arranged using floral foam in a vase or in a hatbox, do not remove the flowers from the foam.

2.  Do a daily check on the foam to see if the floral foam is moist. If the foam is dry, pour adequate water directly on to the foam. In case of a hatbox arrangement, be careful not to pour too much water, as it will damage the box.

3. Place the flowers in a clean vase, away from direct heat, sunlight, draughts from vents, or ripening fruits.
